
Jiang currently works as a jewelry designer in Manhattan Diamond District. She experienced in all facets of the design process from hand to gouache hand sketching, mechanical drafting to work through design concepts to finished pieces. Create and develop a variety of jewelry CAD designs from technical drawings, specification sheets, sketches and written description, in the use of modeling software Rhino, Matrix and T-Splines. Design printable models for rapid prototyping and production with a variety of setting styles and metal types such as prongs setting, bezel setting, eternity band, milgrains, 14K gold, 18K gold, Rose gold, Platinum, etc. A sound understanding of the cost of goods, pricing structures and materials, as well as CAM (computer aided manufacturing) knowledge. Use V-Ray, Flamingo rendering for presentation and production for the jewelry industry.
